Master's in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

ESL Lecturer for 5 years in Higher Education in Cambridge, U.K. and now 15 years in the United Arab Emirates. Have taught adults and teenagers both online and face to face, but due to Covid-19, online classes are preferable for now. Courses taught include:- - English for Specific Purposes (Business English, Cambridge KET, PET, FCE and CAE exams including IELTS) - English for Academic Purposes (Academic Reading and Writing, Oral communication skills) - General English - English for Business - Conversational English to improve fluency

Student centred focusing on the learner's needs and requirements, creative, supportive, patient, compassionate, collaborative and inclusive. Language is presented in authentic contexts familiar to students to help learners socially construct meaning and relate it to their own life experiences. Personalisation of activities helps learners to retain the language more easily based on the pedagogies of constructivism and communicative language teaching.
