I have over 35 years experience in teaching, English, Spanish and Italian in Ireland, Europe and the Middle East. I have encountered many different nationalities, cultures and am familiar with a vast amount of learning styles and attitudes. My specialities are teaching pronunciation, grammar and writing and raising awareness of student's own fossilized errors so they self-correct. I have presented at local and international forums and am constantly upskilling in my field.

As a very passionate educator, I like to involve my students in their learning so they feel motivated to participate, interact and do the homework. I like to challenge them to reach their potential and encourage self-belief. I create engaging, bespoke classes to help students reach their own goals and enjoy the subject so much they want to delve deeper in their own time. I am also very results-driven and provide a compassionate yet challenging learning environment, creating momentum and self-motivation.
