My first teaching/tutoring experience was with 9-13 years old kids, while I worked as au pair in Ireland. Most of my job was helping them understand and study what they learnt in school each day, helping them do their homework when they needed and other extra activities to train their imagination and memory. I also taught them some Spanish.

The way I approach my classes depends on the students’ age, knowledge base, any possible learning difficulties and expectations. I like to "learn" the student first and find what works for them so I can adapt my teaching methods and the class. However, I generally find that the most effective approach is as practical and interactive as possible.
