I have worked at a further education college, a school in China, run distance learning courses, and worked as a home and online tutor. I have taught English Language, Literature, Communication, ESL and Religious Studies. As well as a PGCE, I have a TEFL certificate, and a City & Guilds in providing Basic Skills support.

I like to find out the student's level first and use that as a foundation to build on. I also try to work from the student's needs as these will differ depending on individual circumstances. I like to use a variety of sources (written, visual and music) to stimulate learning.
